Acorn Home & Design is a full-service design studio and retail store located in Andover, Massachusetts. It is owned and operated by Jill Cormier and Krista Witt, who happily provide their clients and customers with design inspiration in an approachable and enthusiastic way. Acorn’s design studio is home to one of the largest libraries of fabrics and wallpaper on the North Shore, as well as a workroom team committed to creating the highest quality custom pillows, window treatments and furniture coverings. Jill and Krista, each with their own design history, expertise and talent, have combined their abilities to form a perfectly harmonious design team. They have been working together on interior spaces for over 16 years.Jill and Krista’s depth of knowledge ranges widely. Between them, they have completely renovated five homes, not afraid to get their own hands dirty with tough tasks like exterior shingling and horsehair plaster removal. From ripping down walls and creating better floor plans to designing built-ins to attending to the largest and smallest decorative details, Jill and Krista enjoy redefining spaces that meet the individual and unique needs of each client. Merging their aptitudes for design, Jill and Krista’s ability to approach interior spaces from both architectural and decorative perspectives serves to optimize form, function and flow in all of their projects.
Greatly influenced by their parents, Jill and Krista share a mutual love of nature, cooking and gardening, art, antiques, custom furniture, travel, and architecture. These creative passions each serve to inform their work and strengthen client relationships. They seek to understand their clients’ distinctive styles to create authentic spaces that demonstrate a blend of personality and practicality.
